લાકડાની નિસ્તેજ અને ગ્રે હોય છે

મારા પૂર્વજો રહેતા હતા

પુનઃ ચાવવાની પશુ દ્વારા હૂંફાળું

આ કોઠાર લેન્ડસ્કેપ માં અકારણ જોઈ

તેમના ત્યજી સપના તરીકે

આ ઘાસના અને ક્ષેત્રોમાં

ઊભો ઢોળાવ પર મારા માટે રાહ જોઈ રહ્યા છે

The wood is pale and gray

my ancestors lived in

warmed by the re-chewing cattle

the barn looking blindly into the landscape

as their abandoned dreams

in the meadows and fields

on steep slopes are waiting for me

Das Holz ist bleich und grau

darin wohnten meine Ahnen

gewärmt durch das wiederkauende Vieh

der Stall blickt in die Landschaft blind

wie ihre verlassenen Träume

die in Wiesen und Feldern

am Steilhang auf mich warten
